The annual NEKLS fall bus tour made an extended stop at MCPL on Thursday, August 26th for their first visit since the library renovations. Mary Cotton Public Library current building was erected in 1935 as a WPA project and opened in 1936. It was named after its first benefactor, Mary Cotton who donated her own personal book collection and $3000.00 to establish a public library for Sabetha.
