The Mary Cotton Public Library Summer Reading Celebration will conclude with a Summer Reading Celebration. The Celebration will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 20, at the MCPL Library Park. Youth can enjoy face painting by Sabetha High School Cheerleaders, bounce houses and games. The Pack 77 Cub Scouts will be serving ice cream floats and Friends of the MCPL will have popcorn. Mary Cotton Public Library’s 2026 Summer Reading program will kick off with a special event featuring Cody Wells of C3Brix.
