Mary Cotton Public Library’s 2026 Summer Reading program will kick off with a special event featuring Cody Wells of C3Brix. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, May 28, at Sabetha City Hall. Dirt, dinosaurs and history will be unearthed this summer during Mary Cotton Public Library’s Summer Reading program. MCPL will host a variety of events and activities that support the program’s theme of “Unearth a Story.” Readers of all ages can explore working together during this summer’s reading program. As part of its annual meeting, the Friends of the Mary Cotton Public Library will host author Tracy Baack at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, in the Mary Cotton Public Library meeting room.
