Friends of the MCPL to host Summer Reading Celebration

The Mary Cotton Public Library Summer Reading Celebration will conclude with a Summer Reading Celebration. The Celebration will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 20, at the MCPL Library Park. 

Youth can enjoy face painting by Sabetha High School Cheerleaders, bounce houses and games. The Pack 77 Cub Scouts will be serving ice cream floats and Friends of the MCPL will have popcorn. The activities, ice cream floats and popcorn will all be provided free to attendees.

Sunflower Kitchen food truck also will be on site selling food. 

For those who participated in the Summer Reading Program, prizes will be announced beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for prize drawings must be submitted by no later than noon on Friday, July 17. Late entries will not be accepted.

While this event is celebrating the conclusion of the Summer Reading program, the public is invited to attend.
